چکیده
Abstract Objective This study aimed to investigate the effect of relining prefabricated fiber-reinforced composite (FRC) posts using bulk-fill, flowable, discontinuous short (SFRC) on intracanal adaptation in weakened endodontically-treated premolar teeth. Materials and Methods Forty extracted human teeth were selected randomly allocated five groups (n = 8) according canal preparation method restorative technique after endodontic treatment: Group 1 (control): nonflared, closed apex root canals; group 2, 4: flared, open-apex 3, 5: canals. Groups 3 restored with standard RelyX fiber post size #1, while 4 5 customized #1 relined bulk-fill flowable SFRC (everX Flow, GC, Tokyo, Japan). To evaluate adaptation, empty each sample corresponding (standard or customized) inserted was measured twice a micro-digital scale average value calculated. The then removed, followed by insertion light body polyvinyl siloxane (PVS) impression material into canal, reinsertion removal excess once PVS set. Finally, weight recorded, data analyzed one-way analysis variance Bonferroni hoc test (p-value 0.05). Results A statistically significant difference (p < 0.05) identified between groups. (control) had lightest material, (groups 5) 2 3). Conclusion Anatomically-customized provided better compared compromised

Creep of experimental short fiber-reinforced composite resin.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the reinforcing effect of short E-glass fiber fillers oriented in different directions on composite resin under static and dynamic loading. Experimental short fiber-reinforced composite resin (FC) was prepared by mixing 22.5 wt% of short E-glass fibers, 22.5 wt% of resin, and 55 wt% of silane-treated silica fillers. Three groups of specimens (n=5) we...

BACKGROUND AND AIMS The aim was to evaluate the effect of three methods of fiber insertion on fracture resistance of root-filled maxillary premolars in vitro. MATERIALS AND METHODS Sixty extracted human maxillary premolars received endodontic treatment followed by preparation of mesioocclusodistal (MOD) cavities, with gingival cavosurface margin 1.5 mm coronal to the cementoenamel junction (C...
متن کاملFiber-reinforced Composite Resin Prosthesis to Restore Missing Posterior Teeth: A Case Report
A fiber-reinforced composite inlay-onlay FPD was used for a single posterior tooth replacement in a patient refusing implant for psychological reasons. The FRC-FPD was made of pre-impregnated E-glass fibers (everStick, StickTeck, Turku, Finland) embedded in a resin matrix (Stick Resin, StickTeck, Turku, Finland). The unidirectional glass fibers were used to make a framework structure with high ...

This study evaluated the fracture resistance of weakened roots restored with glass fiber posts, composite resin cores and complete metal crowns. Thirty maxillary canines were randomly divided into 3 groups of 10 teeth each: teeth without weakened roots (control); teeth with partially weakened roots (PWR) and teeth with and largely weakened roots (LWR). The control group was restored with glass ...
